ANANTA MEDICARE at the scientific-practical seminar "Multidisciplinary approach to the treatment of patients with cerebrovascular pathology and pain management"

On October 18, 2018 a scientific-practical seminar "Multidisciplinary approach to the treatment of patients with cerebrovascular pathology and pain management" was held in Ivano-Frankivsk with the support of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education named after P. L. Shupika. The seminar was attended by about 150 neuropathologists, general practitioners, family doctors, therapists, and psychiatrists from Ivano-Frankivsk, Kyiv, Transcarpathian and Chernivtsi regions.

A report on Memostim® clinical study results “Vascular neurocognitive disorders: etiopathogenesis, diagnosis, treatment and prevention” was presented by Mishchenko T.S. (Dr.habital, Professor, Head of Chair of Clinical neurology, psychiatry and narcology of Karazin Khakiv National University, Research officer of the State Institution “Institute of Neurology, Psychiatry and Narcology of the Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine”, Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine).

During the report, Mishchenko T.S. emphasized on the positive experience of the clinical use of Metostim® in patients with cerebrovascular encephalopathy, metabolic syndrome and cognitive impairment of different severity.

The results of the research aroused great interest among the audience. The main result of the research was the confirmation of the nootropic effect of Bacopa Monier extract. This effect is provided by improving metabolism in the nervous system, by improving the processes of neurotransmission (transmission of nerve impulses to the CNS and neurogenesis) and by growing and developing new nerve cells.

The research also confirmed the positive effect of Memostim on systemic microcirculation, due to the presence of Ginkgo Biloba extract.
