On May 6–7, 2026, the city of Ivano-Frankivsk hosted the Scientific and Practical Conference with International Participation, “Multidisciplinary Management of Patients with Internal Diseases.”

The conference focused on contemporary approaches to patient management, interdisciplinary collaboration, clinical decision-making, and the discussion of practical solutions relevant to healthcare professionals across various specialties.

The event brought together physicians from different specialties, psychologists and psychotherapists, rehabilitation specialists, laboratory diagnostics professionals, healthcare managers, paramedics, and nurses.

The in-person format provided valuable opportunities for direct professional dialogue, discussion of clinical cases with speakers, and the exchange of experience among colleagues. At the same time, the online format enabled participants to join remotely, follow the conference proceedings, and engage in professional discussions from any location.

Particular attention was given to modern approaches to the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of urolithiasis (urinary stone disease), a highly prevalent condition that may significantly affect patients’ quality of life during exacerbations and therefore remains an important public health concern. Effective management of urolithiasis continues to be a significant challenge in contemporary medical practice.

A presentation entitled “Urolithiasis Without Recurrence: Conservative Management Strategies and the Evidence-Based Role of Phytotherapy” was delivered by Mykola Kvach, MD, PhD, Associate Professor, Chief Physician of the Right-Bank Branch of Harmony of Health Medical Center, and Head of the Center for Diagnosis and Modern Treatment of Urolithiasis.

During his presentation, Dr. Kvach highlighted the role of phytonutrients in supporting the physiological function of the urinary system and maintaining the body’s natural water-mineral balance. One of the products discussed was Nokamen®.
