On April 17, 2026, a master class with an online broadcast on the topic "Immunological Obstacles to Motherhood: Management of High-Risk Patients" was held at the Uniclinic Medical Center, with the participation of specialists from Ananta Medicare Ukraine.
The event brought together obstetricians and gynecologists, reproductive medicine specialists, and prenatal medicine experts to discuss current approaches to the management of high-risk pregnant patients.
The master class was conducted by Viktor Oshovskyi, who focused in his presentation on the importance of a comprehensive assessment of a woman's condition during pregnancy, particularly the role of the immune system, lifestyle, nutrition, and the microbiome.
As part of the professional discussion, participants reviewed current scientific data on the role of the vaginal and intestinal microbiota in maintaining women's health during pregnancy. It was noted that maintaining a balanced microbiota is an important component of overall health, and changes in its composition may be associated with discomfort and microbial imbalance of the mucous membranes.
Special attention was paid to factors that may affect the microbiome, including stress, dietary habits, a history of infectious diseases, lifestyle changes, and the use of antibacterial agents. The participants emphasized the importance of an individualized approach to the management of women during pregnancy and the need for interdisciplinary cooperation among healthcare professionals of different specialties.
During the event, Florium-A was also presented. Florium-A is a food supplement containing a complex of lactobacilli. The product may be used as an additional source of viable lactic acid bacteria as part of the daily diet.
