Practical conference “Women’s Health from A to Z. Modern Obstetrics and Gynecology: Evidence-Based, Practical, Accessible”

Modern Issues in Obstetrics and Gynecology in the Focus of Professional Discussion

The rapid development of modern medical science opens up new horizons for specialists to enhance their knowledge and skills, as well as to implement innovative technologies that improve diagnostic accuracy and treatment effectiveness. In the field of obstetrics and gynecology, the most revolutionary achievements of recent years include minimally invasive surgeries, robotic surgery, and advanced methods of infertility treatment.

Special attention of experts is focused on research concerning stress-induced disorders in the female body, modern methods of restoring and maintaining the microbiocenosis of the reproductive system, improving preventive measures, and introducing digital solutions to enhance health monitoring.

To discuss current issues in obstetrics and gynecology and to become acquainted with the leading opinions of specialists, a scientific and practical conference “Women’s Health from A to Z. Modern Obstetrics and Gynecology: Evidence-Based, Practical, Accessible” was held on September 11–12, 2025, with the participation of specialists from Ananta Medicare Ukraine.

During the event, experts discussed a number of pressing issues related to the preservation and strengthening of women’s health, including:

  • - management algorithms for patients in the context of new evidence and updated protocols;
  • - practical approaches to gynecological endoscopy and assisted reproductive technologies;
  • - clear interaction pathways: gynecologist – immunologist – psychologist – reproductive specialist;
  • - modern methods of restoring and maintaining the physiological balance of the vaginal microflora.

Over the two days of the conference, many interesting presentations and panel discussions took place. Participants actively exchanged practical experience and explored ways to improve the provision of obstetric and gynecological care. One of the presentations – delivered by Dr. Nataliya Anatoliivna Tsubanova, Doctor of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Pharmacy at the Lviv Medical Academy named after Andrii Krupnytskyi – addressed promising opportunities for the use of probiotics to preserve women’s health.

In her speech, the researcher analyzed factors affecting microbiota balance and emphasized the role of modern preventive measures in avoiding dysbiosis. It was noted that the state of the microbiota is a crucial physiological resource of a woman’s body. However, its natural ecological balance may be disrupted by many factors – including prolonged stress and emotional strain, genetic characteristics, dietary habits, the use of certain medications, or previous illnesses. Therefore, minimizing risks that negatively affect the female microbiota, maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and following a balanced diet enriched with probiotics can help strengthen the health of modern women.

Scientific studies have shown that probiotic complexes help maintain the physiological balance of intestinal and vaginal microflora, activate the body’s natural immune defenses, inhibit the growth of pathogenic microorganisms, and have a positive effect on overall well-being and skin condition.
