LICORICE ROOT ANANTA SYRUP

Composition: 5 ml of syrup contain Licorice root extract (Glycyrrhiza glabra extractum) – 250 mg.

Excipients: purified water, sugar, sweetener sorbitol, propylene glycol emulsifier, sodium benzoate preservative, licorice flavour, xanthan gum thickener, menthol flavour.

Characteristics of ingredients:

Glycyrrhiza glabra root contains glycyrrhizin, salts of glycyrrhizinic acid and flavonoids (liquiritin, liquiritoside). The expectorant action of the syrup is due to glycyrrhizin, which is able to stimulate the activity of the ciliated epithelium of the trachea and bronchi, and to enhance the secretory activity of the mucous membranes of the respiratory tract. The active components of licorice have a pronounced anti-inflammatory effect and support the body's defences. Flavonoids of licorice extract have an antispasmodic effect on the respiratory tract.

Recommendations for use: the syrup can be recommended as a source of biologically active substances of herbal origin having expectorant and enveloping effects, and relieve cough.

Contraindications: the product is contraindicated for pregnant and breastfeeding women, children under 3 years of age, people with individual hypersensitivity to any of the components and those with hepatic and renal impairments, hypertension, hypokalaemia.

Precautions for use: the product contains sugar, which should be taken into consideration in diabetic patients.

Warnings: Do not to exceed the recommended daily dose (serving). The product is not a substitute for a balanced diet.

Method of administration: the syrup is intended for oral administration 3-4 times a day.

Adults and children over 12 years of age are recommended to take 15 ml (or 1 tablespoon) for 1 serving;

Duration of use: over 10 days. The further period of use and possibility of repeated courses should be discussed with your doctor.

Release form: syrup 100 ml in a flask in a carton.

Storage conditions: Store at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C in the original manufacturer's packaging.

Keep out of reach of children.

Shelf life: 3 years from the manufacture date.
