The symptoms of the delta variant may appear even on the third day

Epidemiologist Ekaterina Soyak says that the symptoms of the delta variant appear much faster. Physicians and clinicians from different countries say that the incubation period has been significantly reduced down to 3-5 days. However, the total incubation period (14 days) has not changed. The epidemiologist says that the clinical picture can appear several days (3 or 4 days) after infection. It depends on the viral load and immunity of a particular person. Recently, scientists from the Institute of Molecular Genetics and Biology found out that the Delta AV.4 variant from the UK has already been found in Ukraine.
