Indications

It can be recommended as a food supplement to a diet. It is a source of saccharomycetes with the purpose to strengthen the general body state and improve the regulation of the gastrointestinal tract microflora. Lotardi also has an antidiarrheal, antimicrobial, antitoxic and immunomodulatory effect. Saccharomyces boulardii contributes to the prevention and elimination of the symptom of acute diarrhea, intoxication, as well as the normalization of fecal masses. Saccharomyces boulardii creates favorable conditions for the recovery of useful microflora of the digestive tract.

Composition (1 capsule):

Lotardi 250: Saccharomyces boulardii (lyophilized cells) 250 mg.

Each capsule contains at least 5x109 CFU of Saccharomyces at the expiry date.

Lotardi 500: Saccharomyces boulardii (lyophilized cells) 500 mg.

Each capsule contains at least 10x109 CFU of Saccharomyces at the expiry date.

Excipients:

Lotardi 250: talc, neutral pellets.

Lotardi 500: talc.

For gelatin capsule: gelatin, titanium dioxide.

It can be recommended as a food supplement to a diet. Lotardi also has an antidiarrheal, antimicrobial, antitoxic and immunomodulatory effect. Saccharomyces boulardii contributes to the prevention and elimination of the symptom of acute diarrhea, intoxication, as well as the normalization of fecal masses. Saccharomyces boulardii creates favorable conditions for the recovery of useful microflora of the digestive tract.

The genetically determined resistance of Saccharomyces boulardii to antibiotics justifies the possibility of their concurrent use with antibiotics.

Precautions for use:

Do not use along with very hot (over 50°C) or cold drinks, liquids containing alcohol, hot or cold food, so as not to reduce the activity of Saccharomyces boulardii.

Do not use concurrently with antifungal agents when oral or complex use.

Method of administration:

It is recommended to consult a doctor before use.

Antibiotic-associated diarrhea: Adults - 1 capsule (500 mg) 1-2 times a day or 2 capsules (250 mg) 1-2 times a day, during the whole course of antibiotic therapy, and then 3 to 14 days after antibiotic therapy.

Children over 6 years of age – 1 capsule (250 mg) 2 times a day, during the whole course of antibiotic therapy, and then 7 to 9 days after antibiotic therapy.

Traveller’s diarrhea:  Adults – 1 capsule (500 mg) 2 times a day or 2 capsules (250 mg) 2 times a day, for 5 days before the trip and during the trip for 8-30 days.

Acute diarrhea: Adults – 1 capsule (500 mg) or 2 capsules (250 mg) 2 times a day, for 8-10 days.

Drink water when take the capsules.

The further duration of use and the possibility of repeated courses of treatment should be discussed with your doctor.

It is recommended to follow a balanced diet with restriction of animal fats, sweets and alcohol.

Nutritional value per 100 g of the product:

Lotardi 250: proteins – 40 g, fats – 1.80 g, carbohydrates – 27 g.

Lotardi 500: proteins – 38 g, fats – 1.25 g, carbohydrates – 16 g.

Lotardi 250: 278.00 kcal (1162.04 kJ).

Lotardi 500: 224.00 kcal (936.32 kJ).

Release form: 10 capsules in a blister, 3 blisters per box.

Storage conditions: Store in the original package at a temperature not exceeding 25° C. Keep out of reach of children.

Shelf-life: 2 years from the date of manufacture.
